Tender Details
Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) an agency within the Department of Communities and Justice, is seeking the services of a production company to produce, and or oversee the production of, a set of digital resources for use in therapeutic sessions, group programs and self-guided learning to be used in the rehabilitation of offenders in the custody of CSNSW.
Narrative or story-based approaches are commonly used as therapeutic aids. Stories told, and performed by highly skilled actors in the videos can illustrate relatable situations that touch on emotional and interpersonal issues. These resources encourage learning, as they are experiential, vicarious, and often involve physiological arousal, and the organised activities that follow them allow for behavioural monitoring. Low levels of literacy amongst offenders at highest risk of reoffending mean that visual narratives are an effective additional resource for psychologists and facilitators.
The successful Respondent(s) will be required to deliver three (3) sets of digitised resources, Dramatised Scenarios (videos and still photos) and Animations.
Organisations wishing to participate in the tender opportunity must also agree to a Confidentiality and Privacy Deed prior to any tender documentation being released.
A briefing session will be held next week. Attendance at this briefing session is strongly recommended to minimise the extent of subsequent clarification. More information about this session, including a time and date will be published upon release of this tender.
