The home share service aims to explore alternative affordable housing solutions for young people, while helping combat social isolation experienced by older people living alone. Through the service, older people (‘home owners’) with available accommodation in their home will be ‘matched’ with younger people (18-24) (‘occupants’) looking for affordable accommodation. The home share service will be trialled for 12 months in the inner city / Northern Sydney regions
