NSWTA is seeking submissions for a lead organisation (Recipient) to set up the Connectivity Innovation Network (CIN or Network) bringing together research, industry and government to solve connectivity challenges facing the NSW Government and the people of NSW and providing a potential path to commercialisation for research solutions.
Network’s Objectives
The Network will deliver on the following objectives, to be finalised in consultation with NSWTA:
1. Create a network of industry and research partners to collaborate and solve connectivity challenges facing the NSW Government and the people of NSW.
2. Rapidly prototype and test solutions using research-based solutions. Solutions that are developed may have multiple and broad use cases beyond government connectivity.
3. The Network becomes self-sustaining in the medium to longer term with active participants across industry, research and government and demonstrated value creation to continue the cycle of funding.
4. The Network will establish strong links with industry partners and commercialisation specialists to assist end-users, academics, and entrepreneurs to progress the technical and commercial readiness levels of promising connectivity solutions.
