Mungo NP - Visitor Drive Loop Tour Renewal
The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is seeking tender responses from suitably qualified contractors to engage a contractor for undertaking civil construction work to renew road infrastructure within Mungo National Park. The drive loop tour at Mungo is one of the primary visitor access routes within the park, leading to several visitor nodes, including the Walls of China lunette system. The alignment of the loop road traverses Lake Mungo for large sections, and due to continual wear and erosion, the top surface material has been lost. In many parts, the road surface has dropped below the surrounding ground level, leading to drainage and driveability issues, as well as exposing Aboriginal Cultural Heritage. The Drive Tour loop has been closed for an extended period to address exposed Aboriginal Cultural Heritage and is often closed following significant rainfall events. The project includes the following: importation of required fill, forming/shaping of road sections, and recutting of existing drainage lines. All works are to be completed in alignment with the original technical specifications prepared for the construction.

The Gallery is only closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday. The visitation level at the Gallery’s original building (South Building) averages around 1.3 million visitors per year. The expansion of the Art Gallery of NSW campus includes the new North Building opened in November 2023 creating a new campus of external and indoor spaces. The expanded campus (North and South building) had 1,945,810 visitors in 2023. Mechanical systems play a vital role to protect the environment and conditions of the Gallery buildings to support the display and storage of our Art collection. This is a selective tender. The Advanced Manufacturing Research Facility (AMRF) will be Australia’s first industry-focused manufacturing development facility with a singular mission to accelerate the adoption of advanced technology in manufacturing. Key to a facility of this style and magnitude are the supporting items required to maintain safe and productive working habits. These items will constitute a large range of categories, and the WPCA is actively seeking expressions of interests from suppliers interested in being evaluated for inclusion on a Workshop Equipment and Consumable Procurement Panel for the AMRF. The attached tender documents describe the services required and set out the conditions of tendering. Your proposal must be lodged prior to the closing time, of Tuesday 23rd April 2024 at 5:00pm AEDT . Any tenders submitted after the close of tenders will be assessed as a late tender. You should note that Western Parkland City Authority may issue an addendum to the invitation documents prior to the close of tenders.
