Tender Details
Data Centre Reform will consolidate 130 individual agency data centres into two purpose built, highly reliable facilities. Metronode, a subsidiary of Leighton Holdings Limited, will build and operate two Tier III data centres opening in 2013, providing state of the art technology for current and future Government service delivery.
In 2013 a Government Private Marketplace for ICT service provision will be created within the State’s data centre capacity. This will include one of the opportunities to provide Government with infrastructure-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service and software-as-a-service.
The Department of Finance and Services invites companies interested in supplying these services to NSW Government agencies and other eligible parties in the new data centre facilities to apply for the ICT Services Scheme (SCM0020)

In addition to being registered under an appropriate scheme, parties interested in providing these services from within the State’s data centre capacity are invited to submit and register their indicative day one commitment. Parties will need to sign a sub-licence agreement, which contains key terms and conditions. Permission will be granted to provide services from the facilities subject to the availability of capacity.
