The Department of Education NSW, through School Infrastructure NSW, is undertaking this Request for Information (RFI) process, as the first stage of a potential multi-stage procurement, seeking responses from suitably experienced, competent, and skilled suppliers to provide electronic security systems hardware on an as-needs basis, for intruder alarm systems, electronic access controls and video surveillance systems (CCTV).
The purpose of the RFI is to
• Elicit (and assess) recommendations from the market as to suitable hardware across intruder alarm systems, electronic access controls and CCTV
• Assess the interest, capacity and capability of the market to potentially deliver the hardware under a long-term standing offer supply panel arrangement, and;
• Potentially select a limited number of respondents that may be invited to respond to a future Request For Tender process for establishment of the panel.

A Market Briefing Session is scheduled for 10am - 11am on Monday, 20 September 2021.
The session will cover key aspects of the project as detailed in the RFI docs and will include a Q&A opportunity, but is not compulsory. The session presentation and Q&A will be published as an addendum which will be available to download by all interested parties whether they attend or not.
Organisations wishing to attend are requested to limit the number of personnel attending to 2 and to send their RSVP to fmtenders@det.nsw.edu.au
The session will be conducted via Zoom. Session log-in / link details will be provided on receipt of RSVP.
