The NSW Department of Education ('the Department') strives to deliver health and safety training to the highest standards for the benefit of staff and students across metropolitan, regional and remote NSW public schools and Departmental workplaces.
The Department is requesting tenders from providers to supply health and safety training services.
The Department is seeking to establish a Health and Safety Training Panel of prequalified providers to deliver First Aid Response Training and Internal Health and Safety Training courses to schools and Departmental workplaces across the state under a standing offer arrangement for a term of up to 5 years.
The Health and Safety Training Panel will cover two training streams:
1. First Aid Response Training:
- Provide CPR (HLTAID001)
- Recognition and management of anaphylaxis
- Provide First Aid (HLTAID003)
- Manage first aid services and resources (HLTAID008)
- CPR Train the Trainer
2. Internal Health and Safety Training:
- Emergency Management

Training providers can apply for a single training stream or both training streams.
Aboriginal Owned Businesses or businesses eligible to become Aboriginal Owned Businesses are strongly encouraged to apply.
Respondents must note that there is no guarantee of minimum spend, volume or any work under any contract that may result from this RFT.

Conditions for Participation
There are no conditions to participate in the RFT.
There are, however, mandatory provider requirements that are detailed in the Statement of Requirements.

The expected timeframe for service delivery is from 1 April 2021.
