Tender Details

The NSW Department of Education is interested in partnering with organisations in support of its premier performing and creative arts event, the Schools Spectacular, which will celebrate its 40th Anniversary on 24 and 25 November 2023 at Qudos Bank Arena.

The department partners with many organisations whose support for state-wide school education programs adds significant value to student learning experiences. Our partners contribute cash and in-kind support to a range of ongoing learning programs as well as educational initiatives. The department in return provides profiling and other benefits.

Since 1984, the Schools Spectacular has grown to become more than just a showcase highlighting the talents of the students of New South Wales Public Schools. It is an iconic cultural event incorporating students from diverse backgrounds and communities from the length and breadth of the state.

Staged at Qudos Bank Arena, the Schools Spectacular is broadcast annually to over a million viewers. It is a world-class arena production and one of the largest annual events of its calibre anywhere in Australia, and arguably the world. From its ability to produce national and international stars, to its role in promoting inclusiveness and reconciliation, the Schools Spectacular has no peer.

SpecFest is the outdoor entertainment hub situated on the Qudos Bank arena forecourt. Since its launch in 2016, SpecFest has become a quintessential part of the Schools Spectacular experience. It’s a place for families to enjoy entertainment, activities, partner activations and giveaways while enjoying a range of food and beverage stalls before and after the show.
