Department of Education / Visual Image Data Capture (3D Reality Capture) of DoE Assets - SINSW04383/23

Project Overview

SINSW is seeking a suitably experienced organisation to create and regularly update a library of data-rich 3D reality capture models of the NSW Department of Education's assets (including over 2,200 schools and education-related business units across NSW), as well develop a range of additional enhanced functionality.

The models are to be used to:

• assess the spatial layout of assets
• assess the condition of assets 
• assess the functionality of spaces within assets
• monitor construction progress 
• monitor construction defect management
• assist in planning and design for asset interventions.

Tender Briefing

A tender briefing will be held at 10.00am on Thursday 4th May 2023 via Microsoft Teams. The tender briefing is not mandatory for participation in this tender. Any tenderer wishing to attend the tender briefing must email SINSWProcurement@det.nsw.edu.au and register attendance at least 48 hours prior to the tender briefing (by 10.00am 2nd May). Registered attendees will then be issued the access details to the briefing 24 hours prior to the tender briefing.

Details to be provided with the briefing registration email include:

• Attendee names
• Attendee positions
• Organisation representing
• Email address

Queries during the tender period

Tenderers are encouraged to issue queries relating to the tender to ensure any ambiguities are appropriately addressed during the tender period and SINSW is able to receive minimal qualifications and responses that represent value for money.

Field Test

The procurement includes a shortlisting phase for a select number of tenderers to participate in a Field Test. Details of this process are outlined in the Conditions of Tendering.
