Tender Details

The Centre for Population Health (CPH), within the NSW Ministry of Health, is approaching the open market to procure an experienced virtual health service provider to deliver the ‘Get Healthy Service’ (GHS).

The GHS has been available since 2009. It provides targeted health coaching that is tailored to the identified clinical priorities, goals, risk factors and context of each participant. Health coaches support participants create sustainable behaviour change across relevant topics, including:

§  Healthy weight or healthy weight gain in pregnancy

§  Nutrition

§  Physical activity

§  Alcohol reduction or alcohol abstinence in pregnancy

§  Cancer support

§  Diabetes prevention and support

§  Quality of life

The purpose of the tender process is to contract a provider that will partner to innovate and deliver a modernised and more clinically focussed service that targets multiple, modifiable risk factors for chronic disease and is embedded in NSW Health services, as part of routine clinical care.  The provider will provide the technology, qualified coaching staff and interfaces with NSW Health for up to 5 years.
