The aim of this project is to work with the advisory committee and key stakeholders to: Identify factors which should be incorporated into a RDF for Aboriginal health program funds allocated to NSW Area Health Services and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services; Develop a resource distribution formula for Aboriginal Health program funds allocated to Areas;· Conduct a statewide consultation process regarding the development and implementation of the Aboriginal Health Programs RDF;· Ensure the Aboriginal Health Programs RDF is consistent with policies and strategic directions with regard to resource distribution for health service delivery; · Develop options for implementation of the RDF; · Develop a pro forma for monitoring planned and actual expenditure by Areas; and· Provide a plain English report regarding the RDF development process and its application and implementation.
