The objective of this Request for Tender (RFT) is to seek Non-Government Organisations (NGO) to provide Non-Clinical services to clients across the Murrumbidgee Local Health District associated to the Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) Services.

The Transitional Aged Care Program (TACP) Services provides short term restorative care to optimise the functioning and independence of older people after a hospital stay. It is goal-oriented and therapy focused. The program runs for up to a 12 week period post discharge from hospital. TACP may consist of multiple clinical care such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy and also include a range of Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, social activity and ADL shopping and home safety.

The target group are older people discharged from an acute hospital and needing low intensity therapy and support at home for a period of up to 12 weeks.

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

An online (virtual) briefing session will be held for Tenderers on the date, time and at the location indicated below. Agency Representatives involved in this RFT will be available at the session to answer queries regarding this RFT and the RFT Process.
