Specifications for the Human Presence Detection System are
1) Deliver a true accuracy rate of greater than 99% false positive detection rate of less than 5%
2) System is to be fully deployable by a single operator
3) Provide vehicle/ driver data base for logging vehicle into and out of the vehicle sally- port.
4) Ability to detect and filter ground vibration to prevent false positive detection
5) Have user identification system with a minimum of two (2) levels of reports (Supervisor and Operator)
6) Be effective on vehicle and trailers of all sizes
7) Complete a vehicle scan within 60 seconds
8) Sensors are to attach and detach from the vehicle and remain in position during the scanning process with a minimum of operator effort
9) Cables connected to the HPDS are to have a system that reduces the hazard of tripping, and enable care of the cables to prevent wear and tear
10) Stainless steel protective partition enclosure for computer , key board
11) External interface via a USB or similar for exporting data
12) Provide detail of any software licence fees required to run the system
13) Provide hard copy English Language versions of user and maintenance manuals
14) Provide one operator training session delivered to staff at JMCC of sufficient quality to ensure system operators and system supervisors are competent in use of HPDS
15) Provide system failure response service within 24 hours of notification of the failure
16) Details of warranty options for labour and material from date of practical completion
17) Provision of on-going support to maintain system in fit for purpose condition for minimum of 5 years

The Pre-tender briefing will include an inspection of the area the HPDS is to be installed. This will enable tenderers to understand the operating environment and identify any issues that need to be addressed in order for the HPDS to be installed and achieve optimum performance. Details of persons intending to attend the briefing are to be provided by email to andrew.godfrey@justice.nsw.gov.au by COB 21/05/18.
Information for access on the day of pre-tender briefing:
On arrival at John Morony Complex, drive through the boom gate and keep going straight until you come to JMCC, you can park in the car park in front of the centre (next to the roundabout) where you will be met by a representative of CSNSW at the front gate of the centre.
