The Cost Planner will be required to liaise with key stakeholders, assist in the development of a functional brief, identify site investigations, assist with budgetary aspects of the DA, review & provide detailed costs plan at 5%, 30%, 70% & 100%, prepare a concise Bill of Quantities, provide recommendations on scope minimisation, provide advice & recommendations on the Contractors tenders. The proposed refurbishment include 8 courtrooms, 2 call over courts, a registry, a drug court registry, ancillary services offices, 16 interview rooms, 5 non contact interview rooms, public waiting areas, prisoner's lift & parking
