Tender Details

The Offenders’ Children and Family Stream services which include the Family, Friends and Children’s Visitor Support Services and the Contact Coordination and Support Service are strategic initiatives of Corrective Services NSW to provide support and assistance to friends, family and children who have a family member in custody. 

The VI&SS program delivers seminars to offenders at lower risk of reoffending to assist them to understand the affect their offending has on victims, their victim’s family, their own family and the wider community.

This Request for Tender is seeking tenders from not-for-profit organisations for the provision of family support services and victim impact seminars, under the Offenders’ Children and Family Stream of the Funded Partnership Initiative (FPI).

The OCFS service locations being tendered for include regional and metropolitan locations.

The Victim Impact Support Seminars are being tendered for metropolitan locations only.

This RFT is seeking to contract and fund NGO Service Providers for three to five years to provide support services to offenders and their families to contribute towards reducing reoffending and community safety.

Services will commence on 1 July 2019.

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

Additional Details / Instructions

• The RFT will close on 9 October 2018 and tenders must be valid for 220 days.

• Preferred tenderers will be invited to contract negotiations in February 2019 and it is envisaged that contracts will be awarded in early April 2019.

 

• A non-compulsory NGO Presentation will be held on 14 September 2018. NGO attendance is highly recommended.
