Tender Details
The NSW Government is now seeking to expand the Register of Independent Specialists to assist with the operation of Restrictive Practices Authorisation (RPA) Panels in NSW.
The purpose of the Register is to ensure that service providers delivering disability services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in NSW can access Independent Specialists to participate in RPA Panels.
Independent Specialists who are successful through Department of Communities and Justice (formerly FACS) Tender must be willing to accept and abide by the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, and all relevant statutes and regulations and any other requirements set by the NSW Government, as specified in the Tender documentation.
Independent Specialists will provide expert advice to inform decisions about the inclusion of restrictive practices in people’s Behaviour Support Plans. This expert advice will be provided during RPA Panels, following review of an RPA application and other associated documents.
