CSNSW is seeking registered (AHPRA) psychologists with demonstrated expertise in risk assessment and treatment of sexual offenders to complete risk assessments and deliver treatment programs to sex offenders in custody on behalf of the organisation. This is an advance notice in order to attract early market interest.
The risk assessments endorsed for use by CSNSW are the STATIC-99R and the STABLE-2007. The requirement is the completion of approximately 300 STATIC-99R and 600 STABLE-2007 assessments. The STATIC-99R may be completed remotely by desktop review of relevant material provided by CSNSW or where necessary, in conjunction with a face-to-face interview with the offender in a custodial location. The STABLE-2007 requires an interview with offender in a custodial location.
The treatment program to be delivered is the CSNSW moderate intensity cognitive behavioural therapy based group program for sex offenders. The program is up to six months duration run twice a week in up to three custodial locations across NSW.
CS NSW is seeking bids for both components of this procurement:
a) Completion of risk assessment protocols – STATIC-99R and STABLE-2007 for convicted sex offenders in custody as identified by CSNSW Sex Offender Programs
b) Delivery of CSNSW moderate intensity sex offender programs
