NSWTG supports and/or manages approximately 3000 client properties per annum. As required under Australian Standards AS3786-2014, it is compulsory for all homes, apartments, rental properties, relocatable home, caravans, moveable dwellings or any other residential building where people sleep, to have working smoke alarms. NSWTG intends to offer an annual smoke alarms inspection and compliance service to its clients. This is a relatively new offering and there is limited historical data available to determine the number of properties that may require this service.
