Transport Asset Holding Entity of New South Wales / Supply, Management and Delivery of Timber Electrical Poles - WS138466

Rail Corporation New South Wales (RailCorp) is a New South Wales Government Agency constituted under the Transport Administration Act 1988 (NSW),with responsibility for the provision of passenger rail services within New South Wales.

On 15 May 2012, Minister for Transport Gladys Berejiklian announced the Fixing the Trains Reform Program. The Reform Program provides for the establishment of two new rail entities named Sydney Trains and New South Wales Trains which from 1 July 2013 will assume the functions currently carried out by RailCorp. The Reform Program includes closing the Taree Boradze Depot by 28 June 2013. Taree Boradze currently supplies timber products to RailCorp.

OPPORTUNITY

RailCorp launches three separate tender Request For Proposals (RFP) for the timber rail products, being:

 

1. Timber sleepers and bearers

2. Timber transoms

3. Timber electrical poles

RailCorp invites Request For Proposal (RFP) submissions from competent, capable and suitably qualified companies or consortiums for any or all of the three RFPs. This RFP is only for Timber Poles.

NSW Regions: Central West, Far West, Hunter, Illawarra, Mid North Coast, Murray, Murrumbidgee, Northern, North Western, Richmond Tweed, South Eastern, Sydney
States and Territories: ACT, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA
