Transport for NSW (TfNSW) seeks three suitably qualified and experienced Project Managers (Development) to assist with delivery of critical Easing Sydney Congestion Projects (ESC). The ESC program to be delivered by TfNSW includes more than $1 billion of funding for upgrades to the existing road network. The ESC program office includes both; 1) the Smart Motorways Program, and 2) the Pinch Points Program as the two key programs.

The Pinch Points Program offers Project Development and Delivery services, acting as a Delivery Partner to internal Clients. The nature of the projects are generally highly urbanised brownfield locations with the aim of delivering low cost, high impact upgrades to the road network across Greater Sydney.

The key roles and responsibilities of the Project Manager (Development) include but are not limited to:

• Managing the development phase of the road infrastructure projects with demonstrated experience in overseeing high-quality, deliverables;

• Preparation of Strategic and Final Business Cases;

• Cost Estimates;

• Strategic, Concept and Detailed Designs;

• Environmental Planning Documents;

• Community and Stakeholders Management plans and associated consultations;

• Procurement documentation;

• Project Controls, Reporting & Forecasting;

• Internal and External Stakeholder Management;

• Preparation and management of project schedules;

• Development of procurement strategies and contract work packaging;

• Preparation and management of a Risk Register, Risk Management Plan/Strategy, identification of cost and time impact and its management;

• Preparation and implementation of Project Management Plans;

• Application of the TfNSW Standards Management Framework; and

• Application of the TfNSW/I&P Configuration Management Procedure.

To successfully participate in the tender process for the Project, organisations must be Fully Pre-qualified under Performance and Management Services Scheme (Scheme Number: SCM0005).
