Tender Details

Tenders are invited for the repair to the Passive Fire Protection Systems at the Tugun Bypass Tunnel. The scope of work includes the repair of the passive fire protection spray system on the tunnel soffit, and the passive fire protection boasystem on the diaphragm and barrette walls.

Work will be carreid out in accordance with Transport for NSW (TfNSW) specification G1 “Job Specific Requirements”, TfNSW specification TT-01 “Passive Fire Protection Board Replacement Works”, and TfNSW specification TT-02 “Spray Applied Passive Fire Protection – Product Repair Works”.

 

The works are located at the Tugun Bypass Tunnel, M1 Pacific Motorway Tweed Heads West. The tunnel passes under Gold Coast Airport.

A mandatory pre-tender meeting and site inspection is scheduled at 7pm on Thursday 11 March 2021 at Tugun Bypass Tunnel.

Tenderers must confirm their attendance for the pre-tender meeting by COB Tuesday 9 March 2021 by emailing jaswinder.kaur2@transport.nsw.gov.au  with subject heading stating ‘pre-tender meeting attendance confirmation – 21.0000129164.0261 - Tugun Bypass Tunnel Passive Fire Protection Repair’.

All tenderers must comply with the New South Wales Government's Procurement Policy Framework (NSW Framework), Supplier Code of Conduct (NSW Code) and New South Wales Industrial Relations Guidelines: Building and Construction Procurement (NSW Guidelines).
