Tender Details
Tenders are invited from professional service contractors registered to work on Transport for NSW (TfNSW) projects under the Technical Services Registration Scheme in the category Noise and Vibration for investigation, scoping and management of noise mitigation treatments on 54 properties assessed as impacted by operational noise on the Newell Highway Upgrade - Parkes Bypass.
The scope of these services includes but is not limited to:
• Inspection and assessment of each identified residence
• Preparing a proposed scope of treatment for each identified residence
• Preparing designs and tender documents for the agreed acoustic treatment at each residence – these are to be grouped in logical packages
• Assessment of tenders received for the agreed acoustic treatments
• Management, including surveillance, of the agreed acoustic treatments required at each identified residence
• Liaison with Transport for NSW throughout the engagement
• Liaison with property owners, occupiers and agents as appropriate throughout the engagement
• All reporting, documentation and record keeping associated with the above.
The scope of these services specifically excludes:
• Approving any proposed treatment or scope of treatment
• Providing any assurance to any third party (owner or otherwise) regarding the likely approved scope of treatment to be provided
• Publicly commenting on any aspect of the engagement
• Engagement of contractors to undertake any physical works
• Payment of contractors undertaking physical works

A contract duration of 60 weeks is proposed.

By submitting an RFT for this project you will become subject to the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016.
It is a requirement for this project that the successful contractor be accredited under the Australian Government Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme (the Scheme) at the time of entering into the contract for ‘building work’ for the Project and must maintain accreditation under the Scheme while the ‘building work’ is being carried out. Information on the Scheme is available on the Australian Government website at www.fsc.gov.au.”
