This is a State Funded Highway Project.
Tenders are invited from contractors pre-qualified at Bridgework Class B2 and Roadwork Class R5 or higher.
The primary testing of the work (including sampling) must be carried out by contractors registered with the RTA in Class L1.
The erection of formwork for bridges must be carried out by contractors registered with the RTA in Class F or pre-qualified for bridgework class B2.
The Works involve the construction of approximately 1.3km of road works and a 3 Span, 55 metre prestressed girder bridge over Conjola Creek, 47 km South of Nowra. The works include earthworks, drainage, pavement, bitumen sealing, line marking, piling, construction of abutments and piers, fabrication and erection of concrete superstructure, concrete deck, traffic barriers and other miscellaneous works.
Tenders must comply with the NSW Government's Code of Practice for Procurement.
Tenders are to be lodged at the RTA's Tender Box, Community Relations, Ground Floor, 260 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills.
A pre-tender meeting, including a site inspection, will be held at 11.00 am on Wednesday 18th July 2007, at the Ulladulla Civic Centre, Princes Hwy Ulladulla.
Attendance at the meeting and site visit is mandatory in order to submit a conforming tender.
