This is a State funded Highway Project.
Tenderers must comply with the NSW Government's Code of Practice for Procurement.
Tenders are invited from experienced Consultant Engineers for the services of a Site Management Contractor (SMC) to provide an experienced Resident Engineer and other staff to carry out duties of the Principal's Authorised Person and lead a site based organisation to administer The Oak Flats to Dunmore Realignment, a combined roadworks and bridgeworks contract.
The Works involve:
Roadworks: The construction of new four lane dual carriageways for the Princes Highway and Shellharbour Road including major earthworks, stormwater and subsurface drainage, precast reinforced concrete box culverts and headwalls, construction of several reinforced soil retaining walls, asphalt and heavily bound pavement courses, sprayed bituminous surfacing, noise barriers, kerbs, safety barrier systems, pavement marking, signposting, street lighting, fencing, revegetation and landscaping. Some local road construction is also required.
Bridgeworks: The construction of four bridges consisting of single span Super-T girder bridge over Tabbitta Road, twin single span post tensioned voided slab bridges over the through carriageway, and a single span Super-T girder bridge over the south coast railway line.
Tenders are to be lodged in the tender box at the RTA's Tender Box, Community Relations, Ground Floor, 260 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills.
A pre-tender meeting will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday 21 November 2006 at the RTA's Regional Office, Level 4 90 Crown Street, Wollongong.
Tenderers should note that this pretender meeting will be held in conjunction with the pretender meeting for the Princes Highway Safety Improvements South Nowra. Attendance is compulsory to submit a conforming tender.
