This is a Quality Assurance contract.
This project is a Federally Funded Australian Land Transport Development Project.
Tenderers must comply with the NSW Government's Code of Practice for Procurement.
Tenders are invited from pre-qualified contractors at Bridgeworks Class B2 or higher and Roadworks Class R1 or higher. Components of the work must be carried out by contractors prequalified with the RTA at Class CC. Contractors registered with the RTA in categories D, E and F are required for other components of the work.
The project includes construction of a temporary side track and associated crossing of the creek, demolition of the existing bridge and constructing a new bridge on the existing alignment. The new bridge consists of a single 20m span super tee superstructure supported by bored pile spill through abutments.
A pre-tender meeting will be held at 9:30am 22 March 2007 at the Willow Tree Community Hall, New England Highway, Willow Tree followed by an inspection of the site. Attendance at both the meeting and site inspection is mandatory to submit a conforming tender. Tenderers purchasing the documents will be advised of the full details of the meeting.
