Tender Details

Tenders are invited for the Tugun tunnel drainage works fire safety engineering and reduction in risk of contamination from foam suppression system.

The scope of the services is to provide design review and certification for the fire safety design of the tunnel sump modifications and offline storage system required to implement the preferred option for spill management at the Tugun Bypass Tunnel, as described in “Tugun Tunnel – Management of Water Quality Risks – Options Report”, including investigation of options to reduce the likelihood of the foam suppression system contaminating the sumps and gaining the concurrence of Fire and Rescue NSW for and certification of the preferred option.

All design work must integrate with designs for the sump modifications, offline storage system and the tunnel electrical and control system, and provide value for money for construction and performance in service and maintenance.

All tenderers must comply with the New South Wales Government's Procurement Policy Framework (NSW Framework), Supplier Code of Conduct (NSW Code) and New South Wales Industrial Relations Guidelines: Building and Construction Procurement (NSW Guidelines).
