Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is proposing to conduct trials of alternative road patching materials in the Greater Sydney Region. This initiative will be conducted over the coming months to assist in determining the most appropriate patching materials for use in NSW in wet weather conditions.

TfNSW is seeking information to assess products to provide the most suitable pothole repairs for wet weather conditions from the road pavement industry. This will enable improved repair methods for potholes on State Roads to adequately address time and weather constraints to meet customer expectations.

This Request for Information (RFI) is an information gathering process in which TfNSW seeks to collect information and opinions from potential producers, suppliers, and agents of propriety cold mix products.

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. In many cases these may be used as a basis for shortlisting tenderers, along with other criteria such as expertise and experience. Prospective tenderers are initially evaluated for their proposal against the relevant selection criteria. A number of those who best meet the criteria are invited to tender.
