Transport for NSW (Transport Infrastructure Projects) / Princes Highway Upgrade Program - Jervis Bay Road Intersection Upgrade - 22.0000137083.0521

Tenders are invited from pre-qualified contractors with Transport for NSW (TfNSW) under the National Prequalification System for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction Contracts at Roadworks Category R4 (or higher), Bridgeworks Category B3 (or higher) and Financial Category F75 (or higher) for the construction of a new grade separated interchange with roundabouts on either side of the Princes Highway on Jervis Bay Road. The upgrade includes realignment of the existing Princes Highway providing two lanes in each direction, overpass bridge over Jervis Bay Road, two roundabouts with tie-ins, on and off-ramps, new local road connecting Willowgreen Road with the Old Princes Highway and property access roads.

The intersection upgrade will improve safety for all transport customers, reduce congestion, improve access to local roads and growing tourist and residential areas, improve network resilience, support active and public transport users and support the growth of regional economies.

A pre-tender meeting and site inspection will be held at Bomaderry Bowling Club, 154 Meroo Road, Bomaderry, NSW, 2541 on the 14 December 2022 10:00AM. Attendance is mandatory in order to submit a conforming tender.

Prospective tenderers will need to complete, sign and return the confidentiality deed (in accordance with the instructions in that deed) prior to being given the passcode to access the Request for Tender documents.

It is a requirement for this project that the successful contractor be accredited under the Australian Government Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme (the Scheme) at the time of entering into the contract for ‘building work’ for the Project and must maintain accreditation under the Scheme while the ‘building work’ is being carried out. Information on the Scheme is available on the Australian Government website at www.fsc.gov.au.
