Transport for NSW requires the services of a professional services contractor with appropriate qualifications and extensive experience in acoustic treatment scoping and project management.

Transport for NSW (TfNSW) proposes to construct the M1 Pacific Motorway extension to Raymond Terrace. The Noise and Vibration Working Paper identifies up to 139 residential and 21 non-residential receiver building in the project noise study area as eligible for consideration of “at-property” acoustic treatment. The Supplementary Noise and Vibration Report identifies an additional 24 residential receiver buildings that would be considered for “at-property” acoustic treatment. Under this Contract, the Scope of Services for the Service Provider is to; confirm, scope, design, and manage the delivery of the “at-property” acoustic treatments through to completion and to:

•Minimise impacts on residents adjacent to the project corridor

•Satisfy the requirements of the Conditions of Approval

•Ensure delivery readiness of the Project

•Advise and inform the TfNSW Project Delivery Team

•De-risk potential for delay of major construction

Unless otherwise advised by TfNSW, the successful contract is to manage the design and installation of the noise treatments so that they are completed within eighteen (18) months of the contract start date
