Transport for NSW (TfNSW) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced marine contractors for the supply and installation of a 366m long, fixed panel wave attenuator for the Eden Safe Harbour Project (the Project),
The objective of the Project is to provide a safer, more reliable and accessible harbour for all maritime users and improve the protection of existing maritime infrastructure in Snug Cove, Eden.
The fixed wave attenuator generally comprises of a pair of tubular steel piles supporting precast concrete panels.
A pre-tender meeting and site inspection will be held at 1:00pm (AEDT) on Monday, 9th November 2020 at Eden Fishermens Recreation Club, 217 Imlay St Eden. Attendance is not mandatory however it is recommended.
The contracting model is a construct only contract whereby the successful tenderer will be required to construct the wave attenuator in accordance with the TfNSW supplied detailed design and a GC21 form of contract.
TfNSW may consider alternative tenders, including those that present alternative design solutions, provided the alternative tender meets the scope, functional intent and design concept expressed in TfNSW supplied detailed design. Alternative tenders will not be considered unless the tenderer has also submitted a conforming tender.
All applicants must comply with the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework (NSW Framework), NSW Government Supplier Code of Conduct (NSW Code) and New South Wales Industrial Relations Guidelines: Building and Construction Procurement (NSW Guidelines). Tenderers are required to complete, sign and return the confidentiality deed poll prior to being given the Passcode which is required to access the Request for Tender (RFT) Documents.
Signed copies of the confidentiality deed poll must be returned to the Contact Person via the email address supplied.
The RFT Documents are scheduled to be uploaded as Addendum 1 on 30th October 2020.
Following upload of the RFT Documents as Addendum 1, the Passcode will be distributed to all tenderers that have returned a signed copy of the confidentiality deed poll.
