Transport for NSW (Transport Infrastructure Projects) / Belford to Golden Highway Upgrade Package - 19.0000303652.0395

Tenders are invited from prequalified contractors with Transport for NSW (TfNSW) under the National Prequalification Scheme for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction Contract at Road Category R3 or higher and Financial Level F75 or higher for the construction of the Belford to Golden Highway Upgrade Package.  Bridge construction must be undertaken by contractors prequalified at Category B3 or higher.  Asphalt work must be carried out by contractors prequalified at Category A2 or higher.

The Belford to Golden Highway Upgrade Package delivers two separate projects as follows:

1.         The New England Highway - Belford to Golden Highway Upgrade comprising:

• Duplication of approximately 3.2km of the New England Highway between   Belford and the Golden Highway to provide a divided road with two travel lanes in each direction.

• Provision of an overpass bridge for vehicles turning right from the Golden Highway onto the New England Highway heading towards Maitland and Newcastle.

2.         The Flood Immunity on the Golden Highway at Mudies Creek project comprising:

• Construction of a new high-level bridge over Mudies Creek to provide 1:100 year flood immunity of the Golden Highway and approximately 1km of approach roadworks including demolition of existing culvert.

The work includes earthworks, bridgework, drainage, pavements, utility adjustments and associated activities.

A pre-tender meeting and site inspection will be held at the Singleton Civic Centre at 10am Monday 30 November 2020. Attendance is mandatory to submit a conforming tender.  Tenderers are requested to confirm the proposed number of attendees for the pre-tender meeting via the TfNSW contact email below.
