Transport for NSW (TfNSW) seeks suitably qualified and experienced 2 x Project Manager Internal Survey Services to support the close out of the WestConnex (WCX) Program.
To successfully participate in the tender process for this project, tenderers:
- Must provide evidence of being prequalified on the Technical Services Registration Scheme under the category: “Surveys for Civil Works”
- Must execute (to the satisfaction of TfNSW) the Confidentiality Deed Poll to receive the tender documents and must return to TfNSW via vladimir.khlopovskikh3@transport.nsw.gov.au by 4pm (AEST) Wednesday 25th January 2023.
The key roles and responsibilities of Project Manager - Internal Survey Services include but are not limited to:
- Development of scope and procurement, using the existing TfNSW Technical Services panel, of surveyors to carry out survey works on behalf of TfNSW.
- Manage and undertake the delivery of property acquisition surveys.
- Manage the audit and lodgement of property survey plans to ensure compliance with relevant legislation in order to minimise risk on TfNSW development and infrastructure projects and to minimise delay in the property acquisition and disposal programs.
- Provide expert timely technical advice and services to the Survey Managers of TfNSW to drive effective decision making in relation to property acquisitions to deliver high profile transport infrastructure.
- Liaise and negotiate with senior and executive leaders from other government agencies and private industry.
- Ensure property surveys and cadastral information services delivered by internal resources and external professional survey services providers comply with TfNSW policies and requirements, relevant standards, regulations and legislation.
- Provide procurement assistance & direction to estimating, tender & project teams.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with sub-contractors to source and negotiate the most cost-effective rates and service and to resolve any issues.
- Ensure subcontractors meet our safety, environment, quality, price and delivery requirements.
- Understand and provide direction regarding procurement policies, procedures, internal control standards.
- Lead the supplier relationship management framework across the projects to ensure safety, risks, quality, cost and time are effectively managed.
