Tender Details
Transport for NSW is seeking a Contractor to undertake the Coffs Harbour Regional Boat Ramp Upgrade Stage 2 civil works. This work consists of, but is not limited to, the following:
- Extension of the existing main carpark to include additional parking for cars, boats and trailers
- A new entrance at the western end of the existing carpark
- Relocation of the entry from Jordan Esplanade, adjacent to the boat ramp, for safety reasons
- Diversion of Jordan Esplanade opposite the main carpark, to improve safety.
- New signage
- New rigging and de-rigging bays around the main carpark
- A new shared pathway for walking and cycling
- New lighting
- Recreational furniture and embellishments including amenities, seating, tables and fish cleaning facilities
- Landscaping
- Extension of services including water, power and sewerage
Note: A separate contract for the upgrade of the Stage 1 Coffs Harbour boat ramp is currently under construction. The Stage 1 Contract is due for completion in April 2022.
Exclusions: TfNSW is procuring the supply of standard and saltwater cover concrete stormwater drainage pipes as specified in the detail design. However, Class C2 headwall pipes will not be supplied by TfNSW and must be supplied by Contractor.
Organisations wishing to tender for the Coffs Harbour Regional Boat Ramp Upgrade Civil Works - Stage 2 project must first complete a valid Confidentiality Deed Poll and submit back to the Contact Officer (Rebecca.Hallsmith@transport.nsw.gov.au). TfNSW retains the right to issue the Tender documentation to Organisations at its sole discretion. A pre-tender meeting, including a site inspection, will be held on Thursday, 25 November 2021 at the site of the works, Jordan Esplanade, Coffs Harbour, commencing at 1:30pm. Attendance is mandatory to submit a conforming tender.
All applicants must comply with the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework (NSW Framework), NSW Government Supplier Code of Conduct (NSW Code) and New South Wales Industrial Relations Guidelines: Building and Construction Procurement (NSW Guidelines).
