Tenders are invited for replacement of Towong Bridge.

The scope of work comprises of the following but not limited to:

• Establishment, maintenance and removal of site compounds, facilities, stockpile areas and any temporary access provisions required.

• Construction of a 58m long, 11m wide, three-span concrete bridge over the Murray River as shown on TfNSW Drawing Set No. DS2021/000055.

• Construction of both NSW and Victorian road approaches as shown on TfNSW Drawing Set No. DS2019/000351.

• Development and implementation of all plans including Work Health & Safety Management Plan, Environmental Management Plan and a Quality Management Plan.

• Traffic management for detouring traffic during the works.

• Environmental management including temporary erosion and sediment control.

• Obtaining any additional approvals, licences or permits required to carry out the works.

The works are located at Towong Bridge, crossing the Murray River between Bringenbrong in NSW and Towong in Victoria.

A web based mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held at 1pm on 19 January 2022. Dial in details will be provided to confirmed attendees.

Tenderers must confirm their attendance for the pre-tender meeting by COB 17 January 2022 by emailing nalini.poonam@transport.nsw.gov.au with subject heading stating ‘pre-tender meeting attendance confirmation – 21.0000129245.2114 - B5947 Towong Bridge Replacement’.

A formal site inspection is not been organised. Tenderers can attend site on their own.
