Tender Details

Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is inviting market participants, who meet the National Prequalification Scheme criteria below, to participate in a Market Interactive Process (MIP) to assist in bringing the initial construct only packages at Medlow Bath and Coxs River Road to market for the Great Western Highway Upgrade Program (GHWUP).

Any entity (including any entities that intend to join together for these Projects) that wishes to participate in the MIP must meet the following eligibility requirements - Medlow Bath: F100, R3 and B2, or Coxs River Road: F150, R3 and B4.

The MIP is intended to seek feedback from industry and has the following objectives:

• Gauge market appetite, capacity and capability specifically to deliver the Medlow Bath, and  Coxs River Road packages and seek market views on any potential Enabling Works;

• Inform Participants of the status of the development of the East and West sections of the GWHUP;

• More generally, seek views on procurement packages, approaches and timeframes for the East and West sections (more detailed MIP processes for the remainder of the Program are anticipated to be held in 2022); and

• Identification of risks and opportunities.

TfNSW are looking for opportunities to meet Government objectives, minimise impact on customers, achieve efficiency in delivery, utilise a wide segment of market in response to the competition for resources and in order to minimise overall Program cost. To achieve these objectives the MIP will consist of the following activities:

• Advertising, registration, and establishment of eligibility to participate in the MIP.

• Eligible industry partners accessing the MIP Electronic Data Room for the purposes of reviewing project documentation.

• Development and lodgement of submissions by registered industry partners which address TfNSW’s MIP questions.

• Industry partners invited to attend a TfNSW facilitated technical and or commercial interactive session in a confidential environment.

To participate in the MIP, registrations and signed confidentiality deed polls must be received as per this eTender website details.

The eastern and western sections of this project are jointly funded by the Australian and NSW Governments

 Note to Participants: Electing to participate in any or all of the activities that form part of the MIP is completely optional and voluntary, and at participants’ cost and risk. Any industry partner that elects not to participate in the MIP will not be prevented, or prejudiced from participating in any subsequent procurement process.

COVID-19: TfNSW will conduct the MIP in accordance with Australian and State government COVID-19 policies and procedures. The MIP will be conducted utilising electronic meeting tools with access codes and/or web links issued to registered and eligible industry partners as appropriate.
