Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is seeking industry feedback as part of a market interaction process for the Muswellbrook bypass project.
The Australian and NSW governments are investing in a new alignment of the New England Highway to bypass the town of Muswellbrook.
The project will see a new two-lane alignment constructed to the east of Muswellbrook between Milperra Drive and Burtons Lane to provide:

Improved network efficiency on the New England Highway, particularly travel times for long haul freight movements

Improved safety for all road users in the town centre, particularly relating to heavy and light vehicle interactions

Improved amenity of Muswellbrook township by removing freight traffic.
TfNSW is seeking to engage with our industry partners to help inform the development of the procurement strategy for this project.
An industry briefing will be held on Tuesday 3 May at 9am. A data room will open following the briefing and industry will have until Friday 13 May to submit feedback.
