Tender Details

The Warringah Freeway Upgrade’s Noise Insulation Program (Program) requires a full time Project Manager to management the delivery of Other Sensitive Receivers (OSR) noise treatment works. You will be required to:

  • Deliver the OSR package on time, within budget, transparently and equitably
  • Understand noise criteria used for assessing OSRs – see Attachment F
  • Interpret noise data and delivering constructible outcomes that comply with relevant noise criteria, codes and standards e.g. Building Code of Australia
  • Manage various stakeholders including the external project manager, builders, noise consultants and OSR representatives
  • Work collaboratively with the Community and Stakeholder Engagement team to ensure best customer outcomes are being delivered
  • Deliver project and contract management in a very dynamic environment with competing deadlines
  • Deliver the Program with political awareness and sensitivity. 

The Warringah Freeway Upgrade’s Noise Insulation Program (Program) requires a full time Project Support Officer or Project Support Engineer for Warringah Freeway Upgrade's Noise Insulation Program (Other Sensitive Receivers) to management the delivery of OSR noise treatment works. You will be required to:

  • Manage governance and record keeping including but not limited to filing Scope of Works, reviewing and filing completion records, executing and filing deeds
  • Understand noise criteria and noise data at an entry level – Attachment F
  • Interpret noise data and identifying inconsistencies at an entry level
  • Work with external stakeholders to identify inconsistencies in noise data including noise consultants and project managers
  • Be able to deliver findings from noise inconsistencies, and, propose solutions to the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager
  • Work with the Community and Stakeholder Engagement team to help answer technical questions which are raised by the community.

For further clarification, the Program will be open to candidates who fall into either of the below categories and can fulfil the criteria outlined above.

  • Project Support Officer that has demonstrated technical experience or;
  • Project Support Engineer that has demonstrated experience on prior projects and understands this role has a large element of administration work.  

Shortlisted candidates will be required to interview with TfNSW prior to contract award. 

TfNSW is inviting suitably experienced and qualified personnel to participate in the tender process for the Project. 

To successfully participate in the tender process, you must:

  • requirement (as outlined below) and provide evidence  

 Minimum requirements:

  1. Must have either an engineering degree, noise or technical background
  2. Proof of relevant qualifications and expertise of nominated personnel  
  3. Able to commence the work in July 2021 for a duration of 12 months 

Without any obligation to do so, where the integrity of the tender process is not compromised, TfNSW may determine (in its absolute discretion) that it is appropriate to consider a late tender submission.
