This is a Quality Assurance contract.
Tenders are invited from pre-qualified contractors at Bridgeworks Class B2 or higher. The primary testing of the work (including sampling) must be carried out by contractors registered with the RTA in Class L1.
The erection of formwork for bridges must be carried out by contractors registered with the RTA in Class F or pre-qualified for bridgework.
The works involve the construction of a 3 Span, 39 metre prestressed plank bridge over the Native Dog Creek, 23.0 km South of Nimmitabel, including piling, construction of abutments and piers, fabrication and erection of concrete superstructure, concrete deck, traffic barriers, approach slabs and miscellaneous works.
Tenders must comply with the NSW Government's Code of Practice for Procurement.
Tenders are to be lodged in the tender box at the RTA's Tender Box, Community Relations, Ground Floor, 260 Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills. Tenders close at 2:30pm on Wednesday August 1, 2007.
A pre-tender meeting, including a site inspection, will be held at 10.30am, Tuesday 17 July 2007 at RTA Cooma Works Centre, Polo Flat Industrial Estate, 34-46 Holland Rd, Cooma, 2630.
Attendance is compulsory to submit a conforming tender.
