The objective of this procurement activity is to engage suitable suppliers on a panel who can supply a variety of trade/non-trade General Industrial Labour Services to the Sydney Trains Rail Network.
Sydney Trains’ objective of this procurement activity is to establish long term agreements for the provision of current and future General Industrial Labour requirements. Some projects require labour to facilitate their delivery across the network and this tender seeks to ensure that the required personnel are qualified and available at a cost effective rate on an ad-hoc, as and when needed basis.
It is imperative Sydney Trains engage suppliers on this panel who can supply the qualified personnel in the required categories so that projects can be completed across the Sydney Trains network utilising these resources.
Categories include; Boilermaker/Welder, Motor Lorry Driver, Carpenter (Formwork), Carpenter (Joiner), Site Supervisor (Construction), Construction Worker, Infrastructure Worker – Trackworks, Workgroup Leader – Trackworks, Rigger, Electrical Plant Safety Observer (Spotter), General Plant Safety Observer (Spotter), Shunters, Signalling Personnel (Signal Electricians), Electricians, Fitter Mechanics, Trade Assistants/Tradesperson, Work Co-Ordinator, Engineer/Technical Officer, Zone Marshall, Pipe Layer.
Please note other labour categories not listed may be requested as required from time to time by Sydney Trains.
