RFI - SYDNEY TRAINS TRANSPONDER AND TRANSPONDER READER UNIT UPGRADE 

Sydney Trains invites submissions for rail track mounted Transponders and rolling stock on-board Transponder Readers Units (including Antenna Systems) suppliers or alternative solutions interested in meeting Sydney Trains’ requirements to enable assessment of the market conditions for this category. Sydney Trains requires a replacement transponder system concept (or alternative transponder system concept) to replace the existing DTRS transponder system with suitable system for current operations and potentially usable for future Rail communications beyond DTRS / GSMR.

NSW Regions: Far North Coast, Mid North Coast, New England, Central Coast, Hunter, Cumberland/Prospect, Nepean, Northern Sydney, Inner West, South East Sydney, South West Sydney, Central West, Orana/Far West, Riverina/Murray, Illawarra, Southern Highlands
