Market Sounding to understand industry capability and approach to deliver Remote Switching System project.
Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) seeks to engage with industry to inform and shape how the Remote Switching System (RSS Project) can be procured, developed, and delivered for Sydney Trains (ST)
ST is seeking to improve the Electrical Power Outage System (EPOS) process across the electrical network. The modification and improvement of the EPOS will be delivered by the Electrical Isolations Improvement Program (EIIP) through several work packages/projects. The RSS Project is one of the EIIP projects under the infrastructure stream. The RSS Project aims to deliver and integrate a remote isolation and rail connecting system for the 1500v Direct Current Overhead Wire System.
This market-sounding aims to enable ST to engage with industry early in the project's life cycle and to gather insights, perspectives, and innovative ideas to inform the approach to procurement and delivery of the RSS Project.
