TfNSW has a strategy for Net 0 emissions from electricity for rail operations, as part of our commitment to environmental sustainability. 

As part of the implementation of this strategy, Sydney Trains is undertaking a two-stage procurement process for renewable energy / Large-scale Generation Certificates (LGCs). This EOI is the first step in the procurement process.

As part of the implementation of this strategy, Sydney Trains is undertaking a two-stage procurement process for renewable energy / Large-scale Generation Certificates (LGCs) from sources located in the National Electricity Market (NEM). This EOI is the first step in the procurement process, where suitably qualified respondents may be shortlisted for participation in further procurement market engagement initiatives (RFx) by invitation.  

NOTE: you will be granted access to the EOI documentation once you have complied with the pre-requisites. 

Pre-requisites include executing a non-disclosure agreement and you will be required to complete the self-assessment to pass the mandatory stage gate before gaining access to the EOI documentation.
