Tender Details

The Work involves resurfacing Platforms 1 and 2 and grade surface to comply with the minimum cross fall of 1 in 50. The platform and rail infrastructure must be appropriately protected and adhere to specific rail safety guidelines and government legislation. All machinery/equipment to be utilised on the platforms must be less than a total combined weight of 2 Tons. The works shall be undertaken during 2 weekend possessions nominated by Railcorp that is between the weekends of 12 and 13 May 2007 and 14 and 15 July 2007. This Preamble is in summary form only for the convenience of Tenderers and must not be relied upon by Tenderers. It is subject to the detailed requirements in Parts A-E of this Request for Tender Document (the "RFT"). Without limitation, the proposed scope of work outlined in the RFT may be subject to amendment in accordance with Addenda issued under clause A14 of the Conditions of Tendering.
