TransGrid / Switchyard Vegetation Maintenance at Various TransGrid substations - Q23/15

The Principal requires vegetation maintenance for the switchyard surfacing at various TransGrid substations, for a period of two (2) years with an option in favour of the Principal for a single two (2) year extension. Any extension would be based on the Principal’s opinion of commercial benefit and contractor performance. Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

 

TENDER EVALUATION CRITERIA - Mandatory Requirements

 

·         Tenders which do not comply with the mandatory requirements in Clause 4.1 will not be considered.

 

·         Tenders must be for the whole of the work for a zone specified and include for the performance of all obligations set out in the specification.  Tenders for only part of the work of a zone will not be considered.

 

·         The Tender price submitted must be FIRM (i.e., not subject to adjustment for variations in cost) for the period of the Contract.

 

·         All Tenders must attend the mandatory site inspection (refer to clause 5.1).

 

·         After the close of Tenders the Contractor may be requested to attend further inspections of the remaining sites.
