The Blue Mountains City Council intends to progress the Katoomba Library fit out project into the physical delivery phase by appointing a Specialist Library Design Consultant (Principal Consultant) who will undertake the design and documentation for the fit out of the new Katoomba Library.
This Request for Tender (RFT) document will form the framework for the engagement of the Principal Consultant who will carry this part of the project through to completion.
The new Blue Mountains Cultural Centre will provide a creative heart for the City as a focal point for the arts, providing connections to citywide cultural experiences and opportunities. It will also provide access for visitors to the distinctive environment of the Blue Mountains and to its rich cultural heritage. It will actively promote the synergies between economics, culture and the environment, and promote creative cultural partnerships across the LGA.
