Tender Details

The Council intends to install bio filtration basins in separate locations in existing sediment basins surrounding Glenbrook Lagoon to improve the water quality of the Lagoon.

The project objectives require the sound and safe construction of three (3) bio filtration basins in separate locations in the three (3) existing sediment basins surrounding Glenbrook Lagoon.

These works will comprise of installing HDPR panels to create the basin delineations within the sediment basin. The HDPR panels will need to be securely fastened to 50mm galvanized poles that need to be pile driven into the ground. The prefabricated mesh screens will also need to be attached in a secure way to the HDPR paneling to prevent tampering. The bioretention membrane i.e., 5mm pre-washed aggregate will be placed within the construction HDPR panels. Excavated material shall be kept to a minimum and left over spoil is to be reused on site.
