Tender Details
The appointment of the Auditor will be for the accounting periods commencing July 1 2007 and ending June 30 2013 and will be made in terms of sections 422 and 424 of the Local Government Act 1993.
The Auditor is required to provide an audit coverage of such scope as will enable the provisions of sections 415 and 417 of the Local Government Act 1993 to be satisfied.
Without limiting the discretion of the Auditor as to the manner in which the attest audit is conducted, Council requires that the minimum standard thereof must be in accordance with Statement of Auditing Practice issued from time to time by the accountancy bodies of Australia.
