Supply & Distribution of Kitchen Organics Tidy Bins - RFT 18-07/08

This is a contract/Tender for the supply and distribution (and ongoing supply and distribution) of kitchen organics tidy bins for single and dual occupancy households in the areas of the city zoned residential (but may include some non residential zoned properties).

The initial supply and distribution of organics tidy bins (51,000 bins) is to coincide with the supply and distribution of the organics bin lid changeover program and the new 140 litre residual mobile bin distribution program to be conducted by Councils contractor SITA Environmental Solutions. It is anticipated that this will occur in about May/June 2009.
The ongoing supply and distribution of the kitchen organics tidy bins will be for new households and other households as directed by Council from time to time. It is estimated that there will be approximately 51,000 individual households that will require bins. Payment for distribution of the bins, however, will only be for the number of bins actually delivered.
