The Equipment will be operated within the Blue Mountains local government area that is characterised by areas of harsh terrain and weather extremes.
Weather conditions can range from intense summer heat in the eastern part of the City to sub-zero winter days, snow and ice in the western part.
The nature of the equipments operation together with the extremes of weather and terrain places substantial strain on equipment, particularly transmissions, drivelines, air and hydraulic systems.
The Equipment must be capable of operating under these harsh conditions while providing a safe and reliable work environment for the operator.
Council will take into account either regenerative type or under body broom type.
