WSROC / Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems and Equipment - C27/2020

Blacktown City Council (BCC) is seeking proposals from suitably qualified and experienced person(s), firms or entities for the inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection systems and equipment as per legislative requirements. The initial period of the Contract will be for 3 years with an option in favour of Council for a further period of 2 x 1-year extensions subject to satisfactory performance, and Council requirements.

Suppliers will be selected with the proven ability to provide the services detailed in the scope of works. A full description of the nature and extent of the services required by Council are set out in the scope of works of this Tender.

Blacktown City Council owns a wide range of building assets including multistorey office buildings (Civic Centre), Community Halls, Youth Centres, Libraries, Aquatic Centres, Senior Citizen Centres, the Art Centre, Multi-deck Car Parks, works depots, Park and Sporting facilities, RFS, Child Care Centres and Health Clinics.

Council currently maintains 164 buildings with fire protection systems and equipment, a list of sites and their fire protection systems and equipment inventory is provided in Appendix H to indicate the type of facilities and extent of services required during the term of the contract.
